We can assist you in resolving the full range of family law issues, as well as narrowing the issues that are in dispute, including:
We facilitate creative, efficient and practical solutions to family law disputes outside the traditional court system.
The best interests of your children is at the centre of our parenting mediations. We understand the needs of children at different ages and developmental stages, and, as a first step, use the latest Parenting Plan tools and templates that have been developed by Justice Canada and leading experts in family law justice.
We routinely work with DivorceMate software, as well as Financial Statements, Net Family Property Statements, and other documents used in the family court system. In all mediations involving financial issues, including support and property division, clients will need to provide sworn financial statements. We have resources to assist you in completing financial documents.
When a settlement is reached in mediation, we will draft an outline of the terms of settlement called a Mediation Summary Report. Where clients have Independent Legal Advice, we can provide draft legal documents, such as Separation Agreements or Cohabitation Agreements, for your lawyer’s review.
